The 2012 Annual Meeting is upon us! We will be meeting Wednesday February 22 through Sunday February 26, 2012 at the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel! Once again, I am asking that you fill out a PREMEETING STATEMENT that lets us know what functions and meals you plan to attend at the meeting. This is VERY important because the resort poses rather stiff penalties for “no shows” and “over bookings”. For that reason,

To make reservations, call (800) 235-6397. Make sure you mention “The Academy of Anesthesiology” to insure getting our group rate of $229/night (without tax).
Online:
To make reservations online, log onto http://www.loewshotels.com/en/Santa-Monica-Beach-Hotel and under Partner/Group Rates select Group and under Code type AOA222. The page will display the rooms available under the group rate in which the guest will be able to select between a King or Double bed and enter the rest of their information including any requests they may have.
Reservations for THREE days before or after meeting dates:
Because the group is allowed to reserve 3 days pre and post of the meeting dates, it would be best if those Members wishing these extended reservations to call Karla Caceres 310-458-6700 Ext. 2297 (direct) directly since these dates are based upon hotel availability.
We now have members-only and spouses sections on this website. They both require an ID and Password to enter. If you need this information, email the webmaster. We have already placed confidential information such as the member address book, etc on these secured sections. Members and spouses are encouraged to send materials (photographs, messages, spouse meeting materials, etc.) to J. Kent Garman, MD for inclusion.
